* This ethics group, registered with CNPq, is dedicated to studies, readings, mentoring, and seminars on human and animal ethics. It includes my supervisees and students from UFU, researchers, and some other individuals interested in applied ethics, human rights, and animal rights. Tom Regan, who is honored by the group's name, was one of the most important contemporary philosophers of human and animal rights, as well as being dedicated to applied ethics in general.
